OUR HISTORY

• Founded in St. Petersburg in 1934
• Hosted “Shoe Fund Dance”, St. Petersburg’s most popular formal event for over fifty years
• West Exchange, now part of St. Pete Exchange, began awarding Makala Trophy to winner of UF/FSU football game in 1958
• Started Exchange Center of the Suncoast for the Prevention of Child Abuse, now part of Help-A-Child,in 1982
• Club Member Jim Brown elected National Exchange Club President in 1989
• Celebrated 75th Anniversary in 2009.
